About this Resource
About this Compendium
This online resource is designed to serve as a compendium of tools, resources, strategies and lessons learned in effectively creating and sustaining state-wide coalitions to address falls and fall related injuries and deaths among older adults. Materials were contributed by the public health and aging services leads in ten states with active fall prevention coalitions. These materials have been tried and tested and may serve other states exploring coalition building to address this issue. The National Council on Aging greatly appreciates the states’ willingness to share this invaluable information in an effort to both assist their peers and to facilitate a national impact on falls and fall related injuries and deaths.
